When our old, faithful Stegg started to age, we realized it was time to start looking for a new hunting dog for Bjorn. We sat in front of the computer for hours and hours - studying pictures, web sites, pedigrees, lists of results from various kind of shows and tests and statistics from all of the corners of the world. Finally, we thought we had found Our Puppy - we were in ecstasy - but unfortunately fate played a game with us and we had to start all over again - pics, web sites, pedigrees...

In January of 2006 we found a litter in Sweden that caught our interest. Lennart Gullberg, Bjornkarrets, was about to mate his beautiful, liver bitch Vantans Blossa during spring with a top winning German male. He apporved us as potential puppy buyers!

Fate was there again... The puppys were born on the 5th of May - Stegg's birthday!!!

Now we have our "Ella" with us! She's a strong willed lady - still wanting to please and a constant need to be close. She's absolutely fearless and adapts so well to every situation - plain and simple, a girl we believe it will be so much fun working with!

After living with Ella for only 3 weeks now it's difficult to imagine not falling to sleep beside this little "velvet girl" every single night...
